today i was lucky enough to be in amelies prep class, painting some boiled eggs with them. amelie was so excited. as was i . as were the kids. we painted, glittered, glued, eyes fell off, eggs rolled over and it was so much fun. i couldnt be a teacher. in a school, but i could spend alot of time making with kids. they are energising and free. i think prep should be one big creative space. hopefully i get to do this on a regular basis with amelies class. i would like to do it with the other kids classes too. but i cant really take over the school can i. i have eggs left over so there will be part two going on after school in our kitchen/art room :-) more creative spaces at kirstys...

What a great thing to do - I am sure Amelie's teacher was grateful for the help.
I have been trying to think of a project to do with my little one's class. They asked. I said of coarse. Sounds like such fun, and I am sure your little one loves having you there.
