it all started when amelie came inside with a little bunch of geraniums for me. i asked her if i smack just a few into some fabric. noooo mummy. oh come on am, just some? ok...just one. ahem.....well one led to another which led to the whole bunch which led me outside to pick more flowers and leaves, again and again, and then my farmer boy came home with some more flowers picked from the side of the road...here try these out. it is so exciting...and since i was pounding them onto eucalyptus dyed fabric, the colours were doing strange things, like the purple pansies turned fluoro blue. i smacked my finger as well as the flowers and oh my god that made me swear. each time i look at the fabric it makes me want to do more.
