spring rainy making stay at home day

i love these grey days with sprinkling rain. i love the new delicate leaves on the trees and the bottlebrushes ready to pop their flowers out. i like being awake early enough to make muffins so when the kids wake they walk into a warm kitchen that smells of sweet banana.
i love the relief i feel when i say to the kids you can stay home today. sindri has a bad cough that needs a day of rest anyway. and then i like the slow rhythm of a day with no plans..
and i like to see my corner getting full of colour and girls and elves peeping around corners, as my making for the daylesford market consumes a lot of my head space and more and more of our home space. today i have plans to print tea towels. or pieces of nice linen/cotton that can be used for any thing....like wiping dishes or wrapping up dolls or sitting on tables or hanging on walls or having a tiny picnic upon.
visit kootoyoo for lots of creative spaces to visit . and happy grey day to you.

What a gorgeous space Manda. I love all those gorgeous eyes peeking out all over the place, printed linen sounds like a great idea. I hope your little one feels better soon.
