heavy and light

its essential to let off some smoke/steam when needed. we would all explode otherwise yes? well i can feel the steam building around here and im a little worried how the pressure is going to be released. in the mean time we had some cracking good fun on the weekend with my fire loving bro. he is a true sweetie. he even left me a bucket of flowers...see below ...to keep us warm :-)

and speaking of warmth...well this is little hana who now loves to stand. it wouldn't surprise me if tomorrow she started walking. she's having a fun time with the kids.. ohhh how cute she is.

and her mama. :-) a sweet mama she is.....we are now both at least three kilos heavier after eating about 5 kilos of easter eggs. mmmm mmmm mmmmm. and hanging out together...its a luxury that i wish was a normal occurrence.

i am loving incense. loving it. melinda thinks its what i do instead of smoking cigarettes. i think she's a little bit right. or all right. and so funny.

we have had rain... and we have mud. and i nearly slipped off the edge of the driveway the other day. . with a car full of screaming kids... and my boy outside laughing at my bad driving. !

so anyway. . .i should sleep so i'm a little sane tomorrow. i hope its an easier one for my boy. the farm thing is a really shitty situation at the moment. asking for an ending soon. a happy one would be good.

back here again

its been a fun time these past 5 days, on a trip with my three sweethearts. we went to Melbourne to pick up my sister and her baby flower girl ..arriving from Japan. How exciting and soo very very nice it is to have them here in person...to hug and laugh with and play. We also got to hang out with my other sisters too. . . so nice to share life with family.
Back here at the farm today. urgh. I don't like this place anymore. at all. I would happily put my boy in the car and drive away and not return. The grief of the land and the animals...I feel it so strongly. like a lump in my throat..it sits there.
Anyway,... it happens to be raining as i type/talk.
THe cows have once again trashed my garden. Worse than ever. Thankyou cows for reminding me that I have no desire at all to continue living near you creatures. And also I need to redirect my energy. for now..it is not meant to be in the garden.
The kids are happily playing with magnetix and Amelie is singing " tomorrow tomorrow i love you tomorrow."..from Annie, to her teddy bear who is wrapped in a teatowel.
I need to go bath the kids, clean the house, read the Age , find a place for us to move to, have a coffee ( i really need to stop drinking so much coffee....maybe I'll quit that and easter eggs at the same time ;-) and then think about tea. Lentils I think..
So it's back to life here for now... I have some way cute photos to post... one day soon.

i'm filled with love and it feels so delightful

our little girl Amelie is 3 today. she brings so much joy into our lives. she is an angel. really. she is.

i don't like the idea of posting photos of our kids on the big, possibly scary net, but i have to........ here she is our birthday girl. she had a great time with her friends, and me with my friends, and my boy.

we are lucky.

musical happy-ness

this is part of a painting i did maybe a year ago. i'd love to go and paint by myself for a week or two. i snatch some painting time here and there...usually at 7 in the morning. but a week is out of the question right now.

rain rain rain please.

i'm liking escaping with music. Buddha Bar, Sunny cd that came with the cute kids book called Sunny... , Silverchair-strangely, and new Norah Jones. a weird mix and choice I know. but surely enjoyable :-) oh and I'm still " hanging out" with Sarah Blasko. so nice. if i was an organised blogger (or person) i would have the links and little pictures of the cds. but i'm not.

so our little Amelie is 3 on friday. it will be a wonderfully happy, sunny day. i need to get a list together, there's a teddy bear picnic happening at midday....... and the house...i need a giant vacuum to suck it all up ;-)

easter love

the magic of easter bunny visited our home yesterday.. at 6.30 am the kids were outside hunting for eggs. .. ..until amelie was shivering, her little nose red, her bucket full of treasure...then it was time to come in. and eat chocolate for the next 12 hours. oh dear.
it was a sunny, happy, a bit sleepy , sweet day.

it feels a BIT nice that it's a new month. nice because it's new..GOODBYE march.. nice because it's the school holidays. nice because it's easter soon and oh the chocolate is never better, nice because it's amelies birthday, and nice people will be coming to play. nice isn't probably the word, but it will do. easter is about new life yes? well. we are all ready for it.

and the photos. oh well....i can never see anough red gum flowers. i found some photos on my phone. i like the scratchy blurryness of them. my poor pink lamp has finally died. the plastic shade on it was cracked and is now well and truly broken. it has had a long loved life.

and a photo from my dads tool shed. i'd love to see him today.
